In collaboration with the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCCI) to look into the scorching challenges face by most SMEs nowadays such as manpower crunch, growing skills gap, rising business cost and low productivity, ASPRI HR Working Committee (HRWC) had invited Business Owners, HR & Human Capital Managers to learn about manpower planning and relevant government assistance programmes and how they can adopt effective HR practices to become the employer of choice.

In this increasingly competitive market, manpower planning is key to the implementation of a company’s business strategy. The speakers from Human Capital (Singapore) and Hay Group had shared some valuable insight on the manpower planning in the new economy. Simultaneously, having a structured compensation and benefits programme enables a company to attract, retain and motivate employees to drive organisational performance.
