Dear Valued ASPRI Members,

iAdvisory Seminar: Doing Business in Saudi Arabia

The iAdvisory Seminar is a platform for Enterprise Singapore and SMEs to learn, share, and discuss various issues within a particular market. These seminars provide in-depth focus on the key issues of doing business in a selected market, such as market set-up, tax and legal issues. ASPRI would like to share this wonderful opportunity with our members as it would be a good chance to know more about the market trends and get valuable insights.

In addition to macro overviews, participants can expect an increased focus on specific industry opportunities, challenges and practical insights for doing business in each market. Participants will also learn from company case studies and first-hand accounts of real market experiences, and benefit from panel discussions by industry entrepreneurs and business advisors.

Through this platform, Enterprise Singapore aims to help Singapore companies to shorten the learning curve and ease entry into foreign markets.

The upcoming iAdvisory Seminar: Doing Business in Saudi Arabia will be held on 8 November 2018, from 10:00am – 2:00pm (Complimentary admission)

Saudi Arabia is the largest country among the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) with a population of 28.6 million, and the largest economy in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), valued at USD$1.8 trillion (S$2.5 trillion).

Although the economy continues to be driven primarily by oil related revenues, the kingdom has initiated a long-term economic roadmap, to diversify growth and investment into areas including entertainment, healthcare, education, housing & infrastructure, and tourism. This presents immense opportunities and potential for companies who are interested and ready to venture into the market.

Hear from the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA) and industry leaders, such as Saudi Aramco and SABIC (petrochemicals manufacturers) on the latest updates on investment opportunities, laws, and upcoming projects in the Kingdom.

In addition to industry breakout sessions, a panel of in-market experts will also be sharing their experience in doing business in Saudi Arabia and providing practical tips to new entrants.

Seminar highlights:

  1. Gain insights into new initiatives and opportunities under Saudi Vision 2030
  2. Understand legal and taxation laws in Saudi Arabia
  3. Breakout sessions on specific industry opportunities: Education, Housing & Infrastructure, Oil & Gas and Petrochemical
