Transform and Grow Your Business Through Innovation and Digitalisation Within Legal Boundaries

As an advocate and driver for Digital Transformation in this evolving economy, ASPRI organised a half-day seminar on “Transform and Grow Your Business through Innovation and Digitalsation within Legal Boundaries” exclusively for all our members which had attracted close to 70 attendees to broaden their knowledge from the subject matter experts.

We have invited close industry partners such as Employment and Employability Institute (e2i), Liberty Insurance Pte Ltd, SME Centre @ Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCCI) and WongPartnership LLP.

Mr. Jeffrey Lim, Partner from WongPartnership LLP, shared with the members on the legal aspects of innovation and regulatory impact on Data Protection & Cyber Security. Examples were quoted to share with members on the importance of safeguarding Personal Data and also intellect properties from each company.

Using the “Business Excellence Framework”, Ms. Lee Lay See, Principal Business Advisor from SME Centre @ SCCCI, had an interactive session which shared on how companies can identify gaps and areas for growth in the organisation.

Professional HR Leader from Align Group, Mr Low Boon Seong also take stage to share with the participants on how Digital Leadership could take grow their businesses. The role of top management was crucial to drive digital transformation in the workplace which in turn could help drive up productivity and profits in the organisation.

Mr. Derek Low, Executive Vice President from Liberty Insurance Pte Ltd, introduced to members “Fleet Telematics”; which is newly introduced to the Singapore’s market and has the capability to monitor and provide feedback on the driving behaviour of their company’s vehicle.

Principle Specialist from e2i, Mr. Derek Pang, did a short sharing with the participants on the grants available in which member companies could tap on to drive digital innovation and productivity.

The seminar closed off with a personal light-hearted sharing from Mr. Danny Chua, Treasurer from ASPRI 12th Executive Council and Managing Director of CYC International Pte Ltd. Mr. Chua shared how businesses need to transform to keep up with the pace of this evolving economy, and change was imperative to ensure that businesses remain relevant and sustainable in the long haul.
