Confined Space Safety Assessor Course (CSSAC)



For Whom : A person who acts as a competent person (Safety Assessor) as required under section 34 of the Factories Act for testing the atmosphere of a confined space for the purpose of persons entering and working safely in the confined space.
Objective : The course is designed to equip the participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to perform the duties of a Safety Assessor which include testing of the atmosphere of a confined space and certifying the space is safe for entry.
Entry Qualifications :
  • Applicants must have at least 3 GCE 'O' Level passes or equivalent, with at least one credit in a Science subject.
  • Or Bridging course for Confined Space            
  • Or ESS WPLN 5 or 'N' LEVEL English & Maths Grade 5 And WSH Skills & Knowledge equivalent to Certificate in WSH or 3 years of relevant working experience in operations and co-ordination of safety work.
