Job Placement Programme (JPP)

The Association is working closely with various government agencies during this critical period of COVID-19. Together with Employment and Employability Institute (e2i) , ASPRI is pleased to announce the launch of Job Placement Programme (JPP). The programme provides salary support to companies who hire local job-seekers registered with e2i to embark on a new job and undergo training.

 

Why should you apply for JPP through ASPRI?

  • Receive salary support of up to $5000
  • Candidates are only required to fulfil 2 types of training – OJT & 1 training course
  • Meet manpower needs in your company
  • All businesses registered in Singapore are eligible to apply
  • Shorter processing period

The Association has worked out special procedures for member companies hence please indicate “A Member of ASPRI” beside your company name in the appended application form
Companies must register for JPP before recruitment

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates:

  • Singapore Citizen
  • 18 years old and above

Participating Companies:

  • All businesses/societies/associations registered in Singapore and carrying out businesses/activities in Singapore
  • Company to offer an employment contract of at least 1 year to Singaporean/Singapore Permanent Resident, with basic starting salary of $1,200 and above. (Funding is capped at $2,500)

 

JPP Process

S/N Process
1 Job seeker is registered with e2i
2 Company applies for JPP with e2i
3 Employer signs a Letter-of-Offer and receives a Letter-of-Acceptance. Company hires the job seeker
4 Company contacts Training Provider and send employee to either 1 of the pre-approved courses under JPP and complete the required On-the-Job training hours within first 3 months of employment
5 Employer submits supporting documents for claims with e2i after JPP completes

 

Salary Support & Training Requirement

Job seeker who is < 6 months unemployed prior to JPP Job seeker who is ≥ 6 months unemployed prior to JPP
Salary support of up to 70% monthly salary, capped at $2000 per month per employee for up to 3 months. Overall cap per eligible employee at $5000 per programme. Salary support of up to 70% monthly salary, capped at $2000 per month per employee for up to 4 months. Overall cap per eligible employee at $8000 per programme.
Complete at least 40 hours of On-the-Job Training (OJT) within 3 months of employment Complete at least 50 hours of On-the-Job Training (OJT) within 4 months of employment
Complete at least 1 pre-approved course under JPP Complete at least 1 pre-approved course under JPP
