As per the Ministry of Manpower (MOM)'s FAQs on Regular Rostered Testing (RRT) found here, RTT is required in the Construction, Marine, and Process sectors for:
Workers staying in dormitories (purpose-built dormitories/factory-converted dormitories/construction quarters/temporary occupation license quarters/temporary living quarters/government sourced decant sites);
Workers who work on production sites.
This is part of the COVID-Safe Workforce measures to minimise transmissions at the workplace, as specified in the “Advisory for a safe and controlled restart of Process Construction & Maintenance”. It does not apply to recently COVID-recovered workers (less than 180 days from date of symptoms onset or detection of infection).
[LATEST] All workers who are required to undergo RRT will need to have completed a swab test in the past 14 days by 5 September 2020. Workers who have not done so will have their AccessCode Status reflected as Red under the “Health Status” and will not be able to return to work. Please refer to this link for the full Press Release on MOM's website.
